DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

You're doing your best to hold it together.

Showing up. Staying responsible. Trying to manage stress, relationships, expectations — all at once.

Overthinking Never Shuts Off

Your mind keeps running even when you’re desperate for quiet.

Confidence Is Slipping

You second-guess yourself more than you’d like to admit.

Anxiety Keeps Showing Up

That low-grade worry that follows you everywhere.

Moods Feel Heavier

Days that used to feel manageable now feel like a weight you carry alone.

Stuck in Old Patterns

You know something isn’t working — you just can’t see how to change it.

Carrying everything alone is exhausting.

Trying to “just deal with it.”

Trying not to worry people.

Trying to figure yourself out without support.

Over time, it starts affecting everything:

School or work feels harder

Relationships feel strained

Self-doubt gets louder

Stress turns into burnout

Emotions build until they spill out

You might start wondering:

“Why am I like this?”
“Why can’t I just handle things better?”

Therapy gives you a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and learn tools that actually help in daily life.

Not just talking — real change.

If Any of This Feels Familiar, You’re Not Alone

I support clients who are navigating:

  • Anxiety & overthinking

  • Self-esteem struggles
  • Life transitions (college, career, relationships, identity shifts)
  • Daily stress & emotional overwhelm

These experiences are real — and they deserve space to be explored and understood.

Evidence-based therapy, personalized to you

I integrate:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness-based therapy
  • Client-centered therapy
  • Solution-focused strategies
  • Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP)
  • Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP)

This blend allows our work to be both reflective and practical — helping you understand yourself while also building tools you can use immediately.

Lindsay's Photo

Hello, I'm Lindsay

I’m Lindsay, New Jersey based therapist, and I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions.

My approach is conversational, relatable, and collaborative.

Sessions feel:

Comfortable, not intimidating

Supportive but honest

Reflective and practical

I use humor when appropriate and real-life examples to make insights easier to understand — and easier to apply outside of therapy.

Together, we:

  • Identify patterns and triggers
  • Shift unhelpful thinking cycles
  • Build coping tools that work in real life
  • Create meaningful, lasting change

It’s Time To Take Back Control Of Your Life

Clients often share that sessions feel:

✔ Like a real conversation

✔ Collaborative, not one-sided

✔ Grounded and supportive

✔ Focused on growth, not judgment

You don’t have to show up “ready.”
You just have to show up.

Frequently Asked Question

What issues do you help with?

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, and therapy becomes a space to better understand patterns and build tools for everyday life.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. I provide both in-person therapy in Cresskill, New Jersey and virtual sessions for clients located anywhere in New Jersey. Virtual therapy can be just as effective and offers flexibility for busy schedules.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and operate on a private-pay basis. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in because they want to better understand themselves, manage stress, improve relationships, or feel more confident navigating life. If something has been weighing on you, therapy can help.

What is your approach to therapy?

My style is conversational, collaborative, and practical. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques to help you build awareness, shift unhelpful patterns, and develop tools you can use in daily life.

What is the first session like?

The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

How often do we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions. Over time, we may adjust frequency depending on your needs, goals, and progress.

How long does therapy last?

There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients come for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while others stay longer for deeper growth and ongoing support.

Do you work with teenagers?

Yes. I support teens who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, identity development, school pressures, and life changes. Therapy provides a safe space where they can talk openly and build coping skills.

What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?

That’s completely normal. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and not intimidating — we go at your pace.

How do I get started?

The first step is reaching out to schedule a consultation. From there, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for and determine if we’re a good fit.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step — and also a relieving one.
